Flok22 is a social check-in app that surfaces who else is at the same venue in real time, letting users see profiles and connect on the spot. Founded post-COVID and part of Y Combinator's W21 batch.
The brief called for a brand that felt energetic and social without the generic nightlife tropes. No neon, no bottle-service energy. I wanted it to feel like the kind of app your coolest friend uses — confident, a little sporty, enough personality to stand out without being loud about it. Checking in had to feel effortless; discovery had to feel rewarding.
