JBN Philly is a professional networking organization for Jewish business professionals in the Philadelphia area, running monthly events and programming across industries.
JBN Philly needed a public site for events, speakers, sponsorships, and membership information, plus a protected member area for profiles, directory browsing, and mentor search. I maintained the Squarespace site on retainer and built the portal layer with Outseta, Stripe, and a Vercel API proxy.
Public Website
The public site gives JBN a place to promote upcoming events, archive past speakers, explain membership, show sponsors, and keep contact paths current. The real work is operational: a repeatable Squarespace structure that can absorb new programming without turning every update into a rebuild.
Member Portal + Membership Flow
The member side connects the public marketing site to a protected portal without forcing a full custom app. Stripe handles payment links, Outseta manages account creation and CRM data, and Squarespace carries the member-facing pages. Behind that, the portal gives members a dashboard, profile tools, directory browsing, mentor filtering, and a Vercel API layer that keeps the CRM data usable without exposing the source system directly.
